The first Soviet "Zenit-2" observation satellite was created in OKB-1. Seven modifications of observation satellites were designed by "TsSKB-Progress" on the basis of "Zenit" satellite from 1965 to 1982. By the present time "TsSKB-Progress" has designed 26 types of automatic spacecraft for the Earth surface observation, accomplishing all the tasks in the interests of national security, the science and national economy.

19 successful "Resurs-F1" and "Resurs-F1M" launches were performed from 1988 to 1999.

9 successful "Resurs-F2" launches were performed from 1987 to 1995.

"Resurs-F2" Space Complex is meant for multispectral and spectrozonal imaging of the Earth surface in visible and near-infrared ranges of electromagnetic radiation spectrum with high geometrical and photometric characteristics.

“Resurs-DK” space system is a unique development of TsSKB-Progress combining time-proved technical solutions and latest achievements of designer’s thought. “Resurs-DK” space system provides multi-zonal remote sensing of the Earth surface and fast delivery of high-resolution images via downlink to the Earth.
